Question 1

What makes Pecking Order different?

Accepted Answer

Pecking Order is a modular inventory: group your items in your containers to generate dynamic checklists in seconds.

Question 2

How do I build my first checklist?

Accepted Answer

Add your items (type, dictate or import), create containers/categories (e.g. Backpack, Toiletries Pouch), then pack using List Mode or Deck Mode and cross off items one by one with a progress counter.

Question 3

List Mode vs. Deck Mode

Accepted Answer

List Mode gives you a fast and compact overview to load items quickly. Deck Mode shows your items one by one as a swipeable deck of cards, perfect for focusing on one at a time.

Question 4

What can I use Pecking Order for?

Accepted Answer

Grocery shopping, weekend getaways, outdoor & camping gear, camera kits, moving houses, toolkits — any repeatable checklist.

Question 5

Is my data saved?

Accepted Answer

As a guest your data is saved only locally on your device. With a free account everything syncs securely to the cloud so your checklists and inventory are always available.
